Growing up in various countries such as Mexico, Spain, and France, the gifted artist developed her passion for the spoken word from a young age.

2. The museums of high repute have exhibited her work

Alexandra’s art has been exhibited at various renowned institutions, including the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Los Angeles, the Contemporary Museum in Baltimore, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Galerie Gradiva in Paris, the Broad Museum at Michigan State University, and the Harris Lieberman Gallery in New York City, among others.

3. Alexandra has been collaborating with Keanu for a long time

Initially, Alexandra and Keanu’s relationship was professional and centered around books. Alexandra provided the illustrations for Keanu’s first book, a picture book for adults titled “Ode to Happiness,” which was published in 2011. She also helped with the illustrations for Keanu’s poetry book, “Shadows,” which was released in 2015.

4. Together, Alexandra and Keanu operate a publishing company

In the summer of 2017, Alexandra and Keanu launched a publishing company called X Artists’ Books, which specializes in “unusual collaborations” and books that fall between genres and don’t fit into mainstream categories. In an interview with Los Angeles Magazine in February 2018, the business partners explained their mission. The interviewer observed that they shared an “easy rapport” and spoke with a comfortable shorthand, which may have foreshadowed their romantic relationship.
